Why have i decided to post..amidst these hectic days.. How have i found the mood to blog?
Well..today.. i went to Natsu Matsuri at Clementi, some japanese school to help out to clean up the place.. I'm glad i was there.. even though i just could not click with any of the other volunteers there..

Whatever i say..might make some of you angry..but as any parent would say..it's for your own good..

I should change my style of blogging .. here it goes.. my experience..

Current mood : Vexed
Current song : None .. just honey and clover episode 12 playing on VLC

August 26th Saturday

It was a day with various bloopers and amazing experiences..
Instead of showing my invitation card..i took out a brochure..and the dude blurly let me in..
The festival was amazing.. tons of japanese girls in their yukatas (those things that look like kimonos but just aint) mesmerized my youthful inner-self.. There were hordes of japanese kids in their yukatas.. and swarms of japanese boys and guys who just ..have an amazing dress sense..
The singaporeans, including me.. who were wandering aimlessly.. were simply owned by them..
I swear..i've never seen a scene that could please me more.. I wont say that i felt that i could fit in.. but it felt.. beautiful..
The japanese danced and had fun.. without any worries.. Even within our heartlands.. It felt like a mini-Japan..
After the festival ended, the volunteers cleared up the place..
And all the beauties went home..

This festivaL sparked me a little.. I was able to compare japanese with singaporeans..
It made me a little ashamed and depressed..
1) A little japanese girl stepped on Aloy's foot, She looked up and apologised with that priceless smile.. and now that u think.. how many singaporean kids step on u,then stare at u and run away as if it was ur fault..
2) The queues were orderly.. SingaporeanS? Rush and push as if that's the last item there..
3) Why do japanese girls seem so pretty and attractive to me.. yet one such girl among the locals is rare.. I'm not saying there's none.. im just saying one local girl who can present herself in such a pleasant manner..is just rare..
4) One side i see yukata and cute girls, one side the sg volunteer girls are just saying lame things or acting as if i owe them some great favour or smth.. just crappy..

(At this stage, many of u would want to close this..especially if u're a girl and feel offended.. maybe.. but continue reading )

No more comparisons now, now u know why i'm obssessed with japanese culture.. I'm glad i am too.. maybe i shud just find a japanese girl or smth.. haiz.. Nevertheless, It was a great festival, i would like to bring my frens there if it comes again.. And yep.. i will try to put up that few blur photos that i took.. another day..
