It feels so shiok to be able to sit and rest at home.

Well, this week was the most relaxing week so far though it was still tiring. I was watering the plants when i noticed the sunflowers blooming.. A beautiful sight.

Me talking about flowers is strange, but im learning to appreciate my surroundings.

Anyway,nothing really spectacular happened this week other than all the sudden downpours.

The only incident was on thursday. First problem was the heavy rain in the morning. In the farm, we always pray that theres no rain when there's a tour, cause there are only a few sheltered places to show them. Everytime the skies darken, u will hear "Xiao di! Kuai Qu Tiao Wu! (asking me to dance to the skies to stop the rain)

Apparently, it rained. Second problem: 0900 20 nursery kids 1000 100 nursery kids.

The 100 nursery kids accompained by parents came early at 900 am and i hadnt finished setting up the farm mart. Waiting for all 100 kids and grouping them was really tough cause they were so young.

Somehow, i managed to finish the tour and everyone was happy and so was i, though i was voicely drained after that. Luckily, the 20 kids at 900 didnt appear. My boss and supervisor were out then, meaning i had to take 3 diff groups along with my senior.

Oitoite, to another subject, i went out with dick, tk, ziting and hienyong today. My precious weekend. Talked alot, ate alot and got to sit in dickson's car. We were drained but we enjoyed some precious time together.

Mr Kok finally replied my mail and along with advice i got from them today, i think i know how to proceed with my MP workbook le.

2nd week in oh farms

Initially, i still had fear and hated going to work, but a few interesting things happened.

My aunt came over to the farm to buy plants today, obviously i intro-ed some nice ones.

My aunt and a teacher whom i toured around yesterday told me that it's a great opportunity to work in a farm. How many people actually get to experience it and learn the basics. This teacher was weird, he came with 1 student and really loved plants. He told me to give them vibration by talking and 'sayang' them. I got his idea lah. I appreciated the advice and I felt more appreciative of what i am doing.
My supervisor brought me out for delivery so that she could check on me. She asked how i was doing and stuff and gave me some good advice. Her efforts and care encouraged me and i was quite gan dong la to have a good supervisor.

Even though i'm so busy doing either admin stuff, bringing tours around (kids, students,adults,old folks) or doing heavy chores, I don't dread work so much anymore.

I'm thankful, I don't want to write too much or not will have less to write for next week lol..

3 days into SIP..

Was nervous at first but was surprised by how relaxed my colleagues are. All aunties and uncles but theres a ngee ann poly girl with me and a senior who's leaving tmr.

Basically,it's alot of hard labour work like delivering plants, packing and loading soil, carrying ceramic tiles and smashing them into pieces,fixing hydroponics systems in schools etc etc.

This is just the starting though so i dont know what will come next.

Anyway, i toured a group for the first time today. As usual i managed to hide my nervousness and i really tried hard despite being damn tired. I still have a lot to learn , didnt explain enough points i guess. I like talking to the students though, a lot of mei meis to see also..that sorta gives me some drive i guess.. The nicest feeling was when the teacher thanked me with a "thanks shane". Even though i didnt do really well, i felt appreciated.

While i was taking a bus home today, I gazed at sky.

Then i realised that the clouds sky was transparently azure.. and the clouds hung in mid air in numbers, a clear white with tinges of grey, beautifully yet prominent.

It made me realise.. maybe i've been looking down or straight too often, so often that i've failed to look up and see what's above me.. I'm sure this goes out there to many of u.. ( Just don't look up above u at 12 midnight)

New skin since exams have ended..

And a really nice Nana skin as it's one of my favourite anime and it just ended.
I was pretty surprised how well this skin was designed actually..

Alright.. back to life.. I'm a little anxious about what's coming up ..
Back in year one, SIP seemed so far. I guess i did not have to think of more serious things like planning your life and career and stuff. But "one turn eye", Im going to Oh Chin Huat farms soon..AhahAHh..

Im quite a steady person so i guess it's gonna be fine but cant help feeling anxious about it.
FYI, i called up Irene neo(not my direct supervisor) and she sounded quite nice.. still got some hope is not a lao auntie.

I was thinking of deleting all my posts.. Then i decided that i should keep it..
I guess im not the sort who can throw written memories away.
Does it mean that i cant forget the past easily too? saa..

Actually im full of thoughts now..but abit tired and lazy.. I'll continue another time..
For now please continue supporting my blog .. those flying off for OSIP please dont disappear alright..take care of yourselves..
