Trapped in this crucible of hypocrisy,
Fighting to escape the pain and fear.
All I need are illusions to hypnotise me,
Maybe they’ll all just disappear.

As I turn my back it’s dark I see,
I pick my pace and run
Maybe it’s guilt that’s haunting me,
The presence of this unfilial son.

Perhaps it’s not as difficult as it seems,
To wield this sword and fight.
It’s just like what u see in dreams,
U have to use all your might.

As long as you find the right way,
There will be no barrier.
Believe in everyday,
Cause there’s never someone inferior.

It's been a long time..but im back..
It was an enriching weekend..

Yesterday,i met up with cong weeping and dennis to go on a guitar expedition..(Justin was sick and couldnt join us) It was my first time visiting the guitar shops in peninsular.. There had to be at least 4 shops there, Davies being the most memorable.. What inspired me most was not the wide array of guitars.. but the pros playing riffs and solos in the shops.. That left me wanting my desired guitar quick..or shud i say the anxiety of playing the guitar even better..

Afterwards, we went to parkway and Amanda ngiam joined us..late. We walked to East Coast park and just hung out till late.. simple..but fun.. A great day for the old man..

Today, had a good sleep.. went to bedok inter to meet cong and dennis .. i went very late but cong was later.. went to bedok north for Kokyong's a.k.a father's birthday bbq.. lotsa uncles sitting arnd.. but the chicken was sibei shiok..

Later on, headed to bedok court to meet up with family and relatives before heading to Roland's restaurant at marine parade for dinner. The food was of course damnnn shiok.. but there were two highlights of the day..

Firstly, i was terribly saddened as my beloved nephew Christian, who used to love me..now detests me and cries when he sees me. Apparently, it's my hair. Now im contemplating cutting it short.. cause im saddened.

So what happened next was my Tua yee a.k.a Big Aunt asked me to karaoke.. I was very moody and was reluctant, but me being the entertainer in my family decided to take the mic and I started singing.. ( we sat in a private room,that's why got karaoke) Strangely, it sparked off a series of smiles ..and i felt much better. That sorta made me feel a lot better and soon i was performing for everyone.

Ending with yi qian ge shang xin de li you, everyone headed home. Now, im watching Man u vs Aston villa and im proud to say henrik larsson just scored on his debut..brilliant

So people..remember this.. blood is thicker than water.. I love my family and relatives and u should too..regardless of whatever shit u do or you're in..
