The Place Ill Return....

It's been two new year days..let me round up what i went through

Eve

Went to Bedok Court a.k.a Mom's side for reunion dinner.

Wore red, had a small meal by my standards..then drank red wine..

I had a great time as usual.. laughing around and chatting with my family and relatives.. then received ang baos.. simple and shiok.. and yea.. 1 thing.. my nephew didnt cry when he saw me..

Day 1 a.k.a Chu yi

Today, it was a lot busier. I woke up quite early at 9+ and left the house for Jurong West at 11.15. Now..travelling from Punggol to Jurong west is no joke.. 20+ bucks for a straight highway journey in a booked Cab.. CNY is scary cause u cant find taxis around.

Apparently, all my relatives at jurong west a.k.a Dad's side.. took 2-3 secs to examine me ..then exclaimed" ORH..Shane ar..." .. i took it as a compliment due to my thick skin.. but it seems like it's easier to communicate with ur relatives when u have reached the adultish age. Nevertheless it was a nice experience cause i dont visit my dad's side very often..

Highlight of that visit: My Ahma gave me a thumbs up

Then I took a taxi AGAIn to bedok south avenue 2 blk 63 a.k.a my old place there , to visit my God Pa.. Ate some beehoon again.. just cant stop eating.. Watched my Dad converse with my God Pa in hokkien.. obviously talking about me.. i just didnt want to Chup in much..

Highlight of that visit: My dad frying beehoon for a few seconds..due to my God Pa leaving the beehoon there to Chao Ta

Then at around 3.30, headed to Bedok Court again.

This year, i finally broke my Ban Lat a.k.a Black Jack suayness by winning around 10 bucks. Why? cause i lose every year in that.. so that sorta made my day..

Now wad really made my day was that my nephew smiled at me.. YESS it seems like he aint afraid of me anymore.. yoshiiaaaaa .. and yes he gave me a kiss goodbye and showed me a few karate kicks.. then clapped his hands. I love that boy..

Highlight of that visit: My nephew liking me all of a sudden

Therefore, a meaningful CNY so far.. though it appeared really sian at first.

For pic's sake, ziss is XO fish-head beehoon from Holland Village, it's really good (not that im advertising for them) Had a great meal with family,big aunt,cousin + cousin in law that day. Went for beer afterwards.. in 1 word.. shiok!
